The master thesis deals with the engineering design and realization of a sports electric vehicle for disabled people. The first part of thesis summarize competitive vehicles on market and also the necessary theoretical knowledge for the design phase. After analyzing the research and determine the resulting vehicle concept follows the draft design. In this section based on calculations was chosen the solutions and necessary components for a vehicle. The following section describes the structure of the vehicle in implementing selected components. In conclusion, the evaluation of the proposed solution.
Intermittent bladder catheterization in paraplegics

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the topic "Intermittent bladder catheterisation in paraplegics". I divided it into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns the spine physiology, medical consequences and complications of spinal cord lesions, nursing care of paraplegics and quadriplegics, and urology care of patients suffering from spinal cord injuries. Another large topic of the thesis is nursing care, focusing on nursing care of patients using the technique of intermittent catheterisation, the applicable legislation and accredited courses for non-medical staff. The Bachelor's thesis has one main objective and five partial ones. The main objective of the thesis is to ascertain the quality of life of paraplegics with intermittent bladder catheterisation. The partial objectives look into the specific needs of paraplegics with intermittent bladder catheterisation in five areas. The first two areas concern their nutritive and health care needs, and excretion needs. Another objective looks into the particularity of sleeping needs, resting needs, and the importance of active movement and exercise. The fourth objective is supposed to map out the matter of self-respect, sexuality, and managing stressful situations. The last objective deals with the importance of life...

The problem of barrier free fitness for handicapped persons in the Rehabilitation centre Kladruby (creation and attestation of movement program for paraplegics).

The bachelor thesis is aimed at the area of barrier free fitness for handicapped persons in the Rehabilitation centre Kladruby (creation and attestation of movement programm for paraplegics). The theoretic part of my thesis focuses on the problem of health and the problem of handicap. The theoretic part of my thesis describes the problem of wellness and the problem of handicapped persons. The practical part describes evaluation of enquiry aplicated on handicapped persons in the Rehabilitation centre Kladruby. Research techniques are: case history (anamnesis), questionnaire refilled with a dialog. Questionnaire refilled with the dialog is used in this study. There were observed 5 clients. The clients were answered 10 questions. The results of this work confirm expert presumptions. The goal of the thesis came true.
Activization of the paraplegick and kvadruplegick patient

The activation of a paraplegic, quadruplegic patient is an in important part of the nursing care for the patient handicapped in this way. By a good and timely activation we achieve a better co-operation of the patient during the rehabilitation, practicing self-sufficiency; the patient communicates better with us and he co-operates. The activation is manifold; as for the hospital activation, the most known elements are books, television, radio, talks, co-operation with the family, internet. Other possibilities of activation are spinal units, rehabilitation center and e.g. the ambulant Paraple center providing the services in the following aid to the handicapped patients.
Integration of paraplegics in society

The theme of the submitted Baccalaureate Thesis is as follows, ``Integration of Paraplegics in Society{\crqq}. The theoretical part of the work maps the current state of the given subject from different points of view. It concentrates on rehabilitation as a whole and description of the individual factors for example: medical rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, pedagogical rehabilitation as well as rehabilitation at work. Further on, the role of ergo therapy and psychotherapy, not only in rehabilitation centers, is briefly analyzed. One of the chapters is devoted to the important process of incorporating paraplegics back into society, which means socialization and integration. The following chapters deal with analyzing actualities concerning psychology in the lives of people with physical handicaps and the importance of exercise and sport. In the text we shall also find reference to various employment possibilities of handicapped citizens including the use of computers in incorporating them back into work environment. The issue of social services is treated in the thesis as well. In order to evaluate the importance of long-term rehabilitation, questionnaires that had been filled out by paraplegics themselves, are analyzed in the practical part of the work.
